“Never the Twain” by Harry Manx

Here in the world of bright promises come and gone…
All come and gone
Better light one candle before your day is done

We’re wise men, but you and I have failed
So what if the one that stands out is the one that gets nailed…

“But as corporations were taken over by a caste who never made a product or provided a service, it is only natural that goods and services dropped in priority, while parasitical aspects of business gained importance, like developing innovative ways to hedge and leverage instruments to squeeze a little more profit out of transactions in commoditized debt. Think of it this way. When vampires are in charge, they will emphasize blood.” —

The Lucksmiths - “The National Mitten Registry”’

I just iTuned their brand new album, and it’s sooo fiting for the coming of winter. The National Mitten Registry is one of the most desolate, lovely thing I heard in ages (and I downloaded the leaked Kanye just earlier this week!!)

The last two minutes always does it for me. It’s about mittens!

Should you find me forsaken; forgot and folorne

Unclaimed and uncared for; neglected, ignored

Abandoned, asunder, apart and alone

Discarded, disposed of, dispensed with, disowned

Lost and/or lonesome, bygone, bereft

Squandered, unwanted, cast off and adrift

Dropped and deserted, [something] and mislaid

Overlooked, derelict, stranded, astray

Fingers crossed

All is not lost.

I think this might be a metaphor, or something!!

“

6) Make sure YOU don’t move or have your fat black fingers in front of the lens when you push the button. (priceless tip: push the button down halfway, wait for a clicky sound, and then push it all the way in - this is the BIG photography secret that professionals don’t want you to know.)

7) Take TONS of photos of the same thing and then only use the good ones where the bird or the queer wasn’t blinking.

You’re done. You’re a fucking photographer. See how easy that is? That’s because it’s for JERKOFFS.

Written for use during early, formative conversations, it provides teams with a broad range of considerations for setting the overall direction and priorities for their onscreen tools. With hundreds of envisioning questions and fictional examples from clinical research, financial trading, and architecture, this volume can help definers and designers to explore innovative new directions for their products.

“Basically, the label moved it up to get more sales and shit. If I get the sales, then cool. If I don’t, then, hey…I’ll have to bare the burden, because I’ve been a cocky motherfucker and talked my shit and all that. And the people would love to see me not sell…hey, it is what it is. That’s the way life is, man. But hopefully I sell.” —
